:encouragement: Just a Wise ass!

Hes the chef - and you gotta make the supper !
I forgot to eat last night- my supper was 2 pints of fifty lashes - luvly!

My point exactly - he is on vacation from work at the moment but now that he has been back home for 17 days (but who's counting?) maybe he could help out with the cooking!

O how I wish I had one those! yes ma'am - you'll find me making pancakes, sometimes waffles, from scratch, pretty much every morning 7am CST. And packing HOT lunches and planning dinner. I need me a kitchen staff.
So - what do you have planned for this evening? I have no clue what to make for supper tonight. :m_pan:

Went to see this last night, after a long debate about what we were going to see. Wish i had just stayed in the foyer looking at the posters. Its pretty lame uneventful stuff, that bumps along, keeping you almost awake with interludes of dream scenes, oh and pretty icelandish scenery. But apart from the drunken helicopter pilot - it was very dull.

Stop dreaming,

Go for a walk.

Have you read the original story by James Thurber? It was THE short story that spoke to me as a college student...

Made something really easy (and yummy) for dinner tonight... Chicken stuffed with stove top...thighs and breast tenders... baked 45 minutes covered and 15 to brown at 350*... Plus an extra hour to read!

How king to devour the bird - sounds delish -

Me -well on cooking- found my latest taste bud tingler - a jar of garlic left from the shrimp barbie last week !! So last night was chicken Fried inGarlic butter / along with some fried garlic onions and potatoes roasted in a cheesy sauce melted in more garlic butter . Then I found what I thought was a jar of leftover black bean sauce and added it to the concoction that bubbled on the stove - only to find it was actually black pepper sauce (with garlic !!) mmmmmmmmmmm

I call it 'Father Callahan Chicken'
L huugggggh vly ( smell it?)

:)

I feel like reheating leftovers - is this a bad thing? :numbness:
Wife- 'How about crunchy pasta and oversalty cheesy sauce'

Me- ' how do you make crunchy pasta?'

Wife- ' same way

you made it last night!'
No reheated leftovers for us. Hubby took me to the Tavern United for Prime Rib in a Yorkshire pudding bowl with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes.

What's this? A chat room? SKMB became chat rooms? When? Where was I?[/quote]

I guess if you go away for a while, the board changes.

It's nice to see you came back! :adoration:
