It sounds similar to Aussie Rules...?Gaelic rules are pretty crazy, too
Yep, with a few differences. I like the way both games are played full out--unless someone is seriously hurt in the middle of the field, they just shunt them to the side and play on From what I've seen in Six Nations, rugger is much the same in that respect. It sounds similar to Aussie Rules...?
Yar definitely, rugby is as rough as shyte... lots of claret flowing after a game. If you don't need stitches, then you didn't have a good game. (I'm kidding... mostly)Yep, with a few differences. They're honest games, and the players play with heart (and have far less injuries with far less padding than US football) I like a forthright game like I like forthright people--lol.Ladies, ladies..... You sound so brutal!!! Consider me shocked.

Cloud nine actually means something specific? I thought it was a phrase George Harrison dreamed up for his song.......I am on cloud nine right now... it is just DAYS until the RWCup begins, I am so excited, this to me (every four years) makes up for every other crappy thing in my life.
Seriously, I am soooo easy to please. Just one rugby world cup tournament every four years...
I didn't know much about rugby (and still watch in amazement rather than truly knowing exactly what's going on--lol) until I made some friends in Ireland and Australia who are very into it. I don't have cable, but sometimes I can catch games on YouTube or streaming on RtE. Siobhan goes bonkers during Six Nations--'watching' her play by play of the games is almost as entertaining as the game itselfI am on cloud nine right now... it is just DAYS until the RWCup begins, I am so excited, this to me (every four years) makes up for every other crappy thing in my life.
