Prayers for your Mom - make sure she actually takes the pills on a regular basis - sometimes older folks seem to think it is weak to need medication (I don't know if that is the case here) but I remember my Mom trying to act strong when she was in pain.

thank you Neesy! She does,she lives with one of my sisters,and they keep a close eye on her..even in her hurt condition,she struggles to go to church..faith like hers is pretty awesome..

Alright, I don't think that I have ever posted for myself on here before, but here we go... I just got laid off from work. It's been 14 years. I've never been unemployed, at least not since I was 14 years old. I don't know what to do. I applied for a state job. Not sure that I'm qualified but I know that I would kick butt at the job. Just asking for some positive vibes from y'all. Prayers are more than welcome too. I've seen it work on here. Community is strong here (Yoda). LOL Thank you!!!

I remember when you posted here when I was in a world of crud. You say true. This community carried me and my son through.

I have a request for prayers if you can.. My mom is in her late eighties and is suffering from back pain. It's pretty bad, and she is the last person to complain or act like she's hurt, her doctor is giving her the strongest medicine she can but its not doing much.. I have seen this thread do miracles before, if you don't mind saying prayers and sending positive thoughts I would be most appreciative..prayers for Grace please..

Just a follow up..called my sister today,and my mom was at the library with another sister(she loves books)..my sis says she told her she feels better today than she has in a long time!! Thank you all so much,I truly believe it was your kind thoughts and prayers,helped God to hear and intercede! Of course she will continue to have pain,the arthritis in her back is bad,but we will continue looking for alternative treatment and praying of course..thank you all again..

Hi, Everybody.

I'm here to ask for some really good vibes for my son, Ryan. Prayers from those that would like.
I'll make my story short...Ryan has a seizure disorder that is a result from something earlier in his life. We have been thinking we had it under control with his medications, but after 17 months, Ryan had a seizure tonight. It's a horrible, scary thing to watch that when you know there's nothing you can do. Anyway, he's having a bad night and could use some SKMB love!!! Thanks.
