I haven't updated in a long time, but I'm doing much better physically than I was 3-4 months ago. Much much better. And a large part of that is because of all your kind words, messages, et cetera. Round 1 of treatments has been over for a couple of weeks now, and my hair is thickening again (never fully lost it because I kept a cold cap on my head -- yes, it actually worked!) and my spirits are much higher. For a long time I was pretty deep in depression, and was on various types of painkillers that were changed seemingly all the time, but never wanted to bring my bad gunky here on SKMB. But I was low. Luckily, I'm better. I'm lucky.

I'm not completely out of the woods, but I feel a million times better now than I did. Thanks again, all. :cheerful:
So glad to hear this! Never worry about bringing bad gunky here - just drop it off here and we'll help you out of it! I just saw those cold cap things on the news last night - super cool! You are very lucky (blessed, even!). Will continue to keep you in my thoughts (prayers!).

As I wrote yesterday I got the letter with the deadline for my thesis. And with it came an aching stomache. Problems started last week was sick about half the week. I think it's due to the stress I am experiencing. I don't know if I should go to my doctor and ask him for some meds. I just hope it will go away the more I have worked on my thesis. In the meantine the thought of eating makes me cringe. Did anyone of you experienced symptoms like that?

I've experienced the same type of thing in the past. And it was diagnosed as being brought on from stress. The doctor game me some little pills that helped.

Most likely it is stress related. Deadlines often cause the body to react in such a way. Just reassure yourself that you can do this and it will be done in a timely manner. Please try to stay hydrated and eat something. You will need your energy. If things do not get better, seek medical help. Lots of calming meds available.

I learned the hard way to not be so hard on myself, to allow others to help me, that trying to do everything by myself is impossible when it comes to certain duties. If I were you I wouldn't hesitate to ask the doc for something to calm you. Stress that is already causing pain is hurting you physiologically as well as emotionally. Try to avoid it.

The back is almost all better. I really strained it somehow for it to last this long.
Woke up this morning sounding like a frog. Throat is sore, and head feels like a balloon.
Karen had to take Kat to the doctor the other day. She is coughing, and had a low grade fever. Her cough wasn't real bad, and she wasn't coughing a lot, but with her it can get bad quickly. The doctor gave her allergy medicine, since it was just her sinuses
So I think that Karen, and I have the same problem.

Agree with all. Go to your doctor. (((niro)))

Saying prayers for Niro and Pegasus. Sending tons of love, hugs and calming vibes to all Tet-Mates who are in need.

Thank you all for your supporting messages. I probably go and see my doctor tomorrow.
