I don't often post in this thread. I do read it. And I do quietly send prayers.
And now, I need to ask for prayers for someone.
I have been very worried about a young person, friends with my child. This young person applied to a school which is often referred to as "the gay school" and was allowed in as an out of area student, due to bullying in middle school. His mom has now decided the school is a bad influence and is forcing him to transfer out. The area school he will be forced to go to has one of the worst violence records, and one of the worst homophobic records in the city.
I have been so worried about this kid. I'm really worried what he's going to do. Watching the news about the shooting in Orlando worries me more for this kid. I think watching it, with the fear he's going through about next year....could be his breaking point.
He's a nice kid. A good kid. I just want to make everything OK for him. And there's nothing I can do.

This school, for many kids, is the first place they get to be themselves. The first place they feel support.

I could use a few prayers and some good juju being sent my way...
I have unreal back pain in the last 10 days or so, and my x-rays came back and it`s sh*tty. I have like five discs deteriorating slowly, pinched nerves, my hip is also deteriorating but not on the side, it starts right above my butt where the problem is.
No surgery as of yet, medications and the doc said I have to wait it out and then, if it doesn`t get better, or if it gets worse in the next six weeks...maybe a surgery.
It F*CKING SUCKS, I don`t want my kid to see me limping around and in super-pain and...I really don`t wanna think about what`s gonna happen there in the next 5-10 years, am I gonna end up in a wheelchair? I`m only 44 years old, I think it`s still too early for that sh*t to come down on me...

....hey Bro....I know back pain and back issues-I feel for you indeed....however, this doesn't mean a life sentence in a wheelchair or even much change in your mobility....wonders are being performed with microsurgery, therapy, meds and the like.....you have more hope than you think.....Thank you all, it means a lot
