I think most of you know my husband is having shoulder surgery on Monday to take care of a bone spur, a torn tendon and torn rotator cuff, and he also has some little cyst-like formations they are going to remove.

Tomorrow we will go get him fitted for his sling and pick up the ice pump thingy and we have several errands to run and grocery shopping to do, so it will be a busy day and I am not sure if I will get to come here and the weekend we are hoping to just spend quietly. So I am posting my prayer request early. Would you please keep us in thoughts and prayers?

I do not know what time the surgery is yet, they said they would let us know the day before, which I do not know if that means Sunday or Friday, before the weekend hits. But I will try to get here to post what time, if I can't, I will at least let Spidey know so she can let you all know for me.

I didn't know! Oh my gosh,special good thoughts and prayers to Cat and Mr Cat in a bag! I think they have come so far with that kind of surgery it should go easy,so hang in there,great advice from GNT and others..we are all right here,keep us posted,God Bless and don't worry too much dear heart.. love ya!! :)

Thank you, (((Becks)))... this thing is so wide-spread, several buildings in our capital are looking like needing to be demolished now too.
The people in the south are doing it hard though. I'm just thankful there was such a low count in loss of life, magnitude 7.8... it could have been so much worse.

If I may,can I request prayers for the soul of my high school football coach,Dick..I was number fifty two there..he was such a great guy,the kind of guy that you automatically tried to be a better person around because that was what he expected from his guys,and himself..I got to know him a little better after graduating high school,as I played for the local semi pro football team,and he coached it,so he often provided me with a ride to the practices..never thought I would drink beer with the coach! But in doing so,I learned a bit of his life,and some of the tragedy he also suffered,but he always was the hero,in my mind..RIP Dick,and thank you so much for all you did for us,and your wit,kindnesses,and good humor..:(
