Yes, thank you. We have a wood stove which has helped many times. Fortunately it was in the low 40'sF so it was able to keep up when the power went out. Turned much colder overnight turning the roads and elsewhere into skating rinks. Good times.....

Out of Order -- stay warm and safe. That's nasty stuff your way. Am beginning to think the groundhog got it all wrong.
Should be 70"s today. Still in low 40's at night. A tad below average for Feb. in FL.

Thanks Spidey. Our dog and high winds are a bad combination. He gets terribly frightened. Have you ever had a dog that reacts to the wind so? He gets so worked up he pants.....and pretty much tries to sit in your lap. At 85lbs it's a bit uncomfortable....LOL

Be careful - watch out for sink holes!

It might be the vibrations that your dog feels during high winds. Have you ever tried the Thunder Shirt? I've used it when we had Mack. There is also a polo shirt style, way more expensive. Extra hugs for your dog!!

Rescue Remedy, Happy Traveler and Melatonin are all natural stress remedies for dogs as well. :)
My mom has a Thunder Shirt for her dog too!

Hey morgan - sort of unrelated to the weather topic - but, I took a friend to a vegetarian restaurant here in town!

I had the fake bacun and fake cheeze - not too bad - it is a 'burger' joint called Boon Burger and it was featured on the show "You Gotta Eat Here!"

Todays weather - quite mild. I had to move my food that could spoil out of the pantry - I don't trust the fluctuating temps and usually just store perishables in there when it is very cold out.

So - a good day to do some food shopping and maybe go see my doctor - got a bit of a tickle in the throat this morning. He will probably just prescribe antibiotics.

It's dangerous to take antibiotics to soon. If you become really sick one day they do not work properly and you have serious problems then.
