I know that. I cannot help but love snow though. Still worry about the animals though. Summer heat can be bad for them, too. I have a space heater for winter in the garage....cat door. The garage is cool in summer. Lots of food in there and comfy chairs.But that is very good news for the animals living outside!
Well, snow is okay - it's the subzero temps I worry about! (And when it gets way too hot in the summer.) God bless you for helping the animals.
Wettest winter on record here. Almost 23 inches since December first!

It's a bit early where I am to call it Spring yet. I figure by the end of March up here (around Easter/Spring Break time) it will start to feel nicer.
I had a few big black crows in my backyard today - I think it is a nesting pair.
They enjoyed my leftover Tim Hortons steak on a bun with egg and cheese.

Annoying. Spring comes way too early, making me feel I should be working outside when my leg is not yet ready, besides which I need six more months of winter to finish all my indoor projects! Beats trying to plow through snow in a removable cast, but still annoying.
It was 73 degrees (F) here today! WHAT??! So crazy. Broke two different records - warmest temp on this day ever recorded and warmest temp ever recorded for the month of February.
Started out with frost on the ground/ car. 72F for the high, and frost again for tonight.
68F ....going to be higher during the coming week. Plants are poking their fingers out of the soil. It is tee-shirt weather and I am royally pissed.
Stupid. Started with rain, built to a swirling, windy snowstorm, quit, sun came out and thawed said snow, then it all started over--did that five or six times today. Power went out for an hour or two.

Not sure if you'll get the American Idol reference but when I read your post it made me think of the guy who sang "pants on the ground, pants on the ground, looking like a fool with yo pants on the ground."
