Today we had the dubious distinction of being coldest in the nation,with an air temperature of -37,windchill -57..a few hours away,mount whiteface summit was estimated as having a windchill in the negative eighties to hundreds..here is the neighbor's dog trying to do his daily business this morning..hopefully warming up tomorrow!

It is going to be 10degC in Kelowna. It is 8 30 in the morning and already the sun is shining. Going to

Snowed all day yesterday. Cold. Then turned to rain. Then hail. Then slushy ice land.
Today it was like a tropical hurricane, wind, rain and 57 degrees. Winds up to 67 MPH for a couple of hours. Sidewards rain.
Went home to warm sunshine - almost spring like day.

Our temps keep fluctuating - it was all melting and up to minus 2 Celcius on Monday, back to minus 18 today and now I hear that it is getting warm again by Friday.

Darn chilly in the house overnight - it was 55F in my son's rec room just off the kitchen. Had to fire up the new electric fake fireplace.
