So it's cold and snowy and had a drive on Thursday that was white knuckle. Otherwise, the kids love it. Right now, they are skating on the backyard rink!

We are being battered by severe gales and heavy heavy rain here. It's done all sorts, thunder, lightning, hail for days with more to come this weekend. I have a leak in my top bedroom ceiling, stream looks like it's going to breach it's banks in my garden, and in my home town of Hastings East Sussex, part of a cliff has come away, crashing down onto the beach below. No one hurt. It's apolyptical. Still at least it's not snow (typical English stiff upper lip poking up there).

Hope you're ok Claire. Just goes to show, people are always saying how small England is, but while you got all that bad weather in Sussex, up in Liverpool it was "a bit wet". I've not seen thunder and lightning for months, and our recent gales were about 40 mph.

This is January in Fl: Today it is 27C/80F. tonight will be 16c/60F. Add some rain tomorrow and by the night we'll have a hard freeze of minus 7C/20F. Tuesday will be 4c/40F for a hight and another round of minus 7C for at night. Hold on, we go back to 80F by end of week/ weekend. Tons of sun too.

Ha ha, reminds me of my favourite line from my favourite episode of legendary sit com Only Fools and Horses - Del rings Raquel's intercom trying to get in, and says "Come on it's freezing out here, I've just bumped into a brass monkey crying his eyes out". I love the Jolly boys outing.
