I think I knew I was in love...for real....when I realized my definition of love had matured and the person I was with was that definition. When I realized I would never feel quite right if this person wasn't in my life. Now, 18 years later, I can't have an original thought without bouncing if off my wife first. She's still the smartest person I've ever known, and the most tolerant to have put up with me for so long. I have no doubt at all, the only reason I've made it to 41 years of age is because of her, otherwise, I'd have been an obituary in the local paper a long time ago.

I was at a company xmas party that brought together people from offices around the country. I saw this lovely young girl who would later become my wife. When I first laid eyes on her I leaned over to my boss and said “I’m going to marry that girl someday!”
