I'll bet you didn't even try poking it with a stick!
Btw, I've been learning to weld.......
I've seen the security camera. When did they start making steel-tipped pumps?

I am really sad that Sears is closing all their stores in Canada. That was my favorite department store of all time. I never shop at The Bay because it's too expensive for me.

Wow, I had no idea. In the states malls seem to be dying out. I guess shopping is going thru the evolution process. Our local mall has lost Macy's, Penneys, Abercrombie & Finch, Aeopostle (sp?), and G-d knows what else. And a nearby K Mart shut down. I stopped by the mall food court the other day & they had a Kobe Japanese place, a Great Steak, and a smoothy place. Nothing else! The Subway even left, which is particularly ominous. People think I'm nuts, but my theory is when the arcades closed it was only a matter of time.

Bummed because my kid's birthday was the other day & I didn't get to see her. I did send toys and a King's ransomed (by my standards) in gift cards, and got lots of fb pics with her & the gifts, but it ain't the same.

Going through the same thing, man. I thought it would get easier after 5 years, but it doesn't. I just try to schedule birthday stuff with them on the weekends I have them that are closest to their birthdays. It's tough.

I'm so sorry guys. My ex was a complete jerk to me, but he promised that he'd never take it out on our daughter, and so far he's been true to his word. Even if it's his week to have her, I always get to see her on her birthday and on Mother's day. I do the same for him on Father's day.

...and you are fortunate to the max in this respect...I hate divorced couples that use their kids as ammunition....

I am in the same situation. We each see our son on his birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Mother’s Day is for me; Father’s Day for Dad. He’s almost 16 (close to your daughter’s age, I think), and he’s so happy that his dad and I work together to make sure he gets to see us both an equal amount of time.

My situation would be a little easier if I lived closer. The ex wife and I work together pretty well on stuff involving the kids. It’s just that I live over an hour away and it’s not always easy for me to make it to school functions and other stuff.

I'm bummed today because the person that I want to be friends with will not give me the time of day. When I said hi to this person, this person just waved me off dismissively. I don't know why this person is like that with me. :( This person is friendly with everybody at church. This is at church. But is only rude and dismissive with me. Man, what gives. :(

It doesn't sound like this person would be a very good friend... I think I would choose someone else to want to spend time with.
