IS IT BAD THAT I LIKE SKMB MORE THEN FACEBOOK NOW!!!!? I feel like having my friends join but then I think they will have there friends join and there friends friends. AND NEXT THING YOU KNOW, SKMB loses the special unique quality it has. SO I have not told anyone EXCEPT ONE PERSON to join. BUT I told him about the mod stuff and he said "NO WAY I WILL JUST FALLOW KINGS FACEBOOK!!" I said HEY NOW that is not the same. It is worth the process because IT weeds out some of the crazies, not all because I made it!!!! Then I realized I am talking to someone my age. Most people my age are used to instant and now and no working hard just hardly working. THEN I CAME TO THE REALIZATION that I would rather be the only one I know on here. It is more SPECIAL!!!!!

No that is what he looks like when he wakes up in the morning. It takes all kinds of specialist to make him the King we know. You should check out the YOUTUBE video that shows his morning process of looking like he does. It is a 4 hour process they condense into 2 minutes for our viewing pleasure.

F suits bro. He used to wear them I seen them on You tube. I think he is way cooler wearing his jeans and T-shirt. It makes him more of a normal guy.

He was wearing t-shirt and jeans 4 of the times I met him. At the Ghost Brothers premiere in Atlanta, he was wearing a button down shirt, jeans and a blazer.

Actually, at the Dr. Sleep special signing I went to in Sarasota, he was wearing a Hawaiian shirt... My son saw him before the signing behind the building. After we met him, my son said about seeing him earlier, "I thought he was a hobo. He is creepy and old." I LOL'd for awhile about that.

No, cuz facebook is a buncha BS. Just personal sounding boards for people. This place has more social structure and decorum than FB any day. And the average bear around here is smarter than most, Boo Boo.

HEY I don't even want to hear it! You met him 5 times and I have not met him once and I really thing I won't get my chance GRRRRR! I will tell you now I will have a signed copy of Hearts in Atlantis before he retires. It will not be purchased on Ebay but signed by him! How, you may ask? Because I can do anything I set my mind to. Although getting this signed copy is maybe 6th on my list of important things to accomplish. I am thinking that I might bump it up to second because the more I check into things the more I think I may be running out of time.

If someone said to me "Hey I will give you 25000 dollars for you signed copy of Hearts in Atlantis) I would say "Hey F off go get your own" If someone offered me 100 bucks for an autographed picture of my favorite band (which I really have) I would say "hey make it 150" It is just something different. I got all goo goo ga ga for my favorite band. But for some reason I have this deep rooted respect for king. I don't know. I have already explained all this. LOL

Yeah you know what? I have never been a big internet user. I had a myspace when I was younger. I had to have my friend make it for me then after a while I used it. Then I made a Facebook and never used it. Then I started using facebook ALL THE TIME because ALL OF the people I know use it! But whenever I would read a king book I would think "I should check out his web site" I came from a very very very poor family and struggled out of poverty myself as an adult. Now I have internet access and a laptop. One day I was all out of books to read! Nothing good was on TV Facebook was a lot of the SSDD! so I thought Hey I wonder if stephen king has a facebook. I found it then found this site and the message bored and found out you could log in threw Facebook (which is good and bad because when I log out of SKMB it logs me out of facebook) So I checked it out!! I have to say if Flake and Blunthead did not talk back and forth with me the first night I would have probably just checked it out every once in a while and not held an interest.

Flake And BLUNT made the people on here seem real instead of just Screen names.

I was on here all the time while I was off work with and injury(I say that like it was ages ago). Now that I have gone back to work I haven't Talked to BLUNT which sucks because I consider him my SKMB bestie! But at the same time it was a good thing because I have been able to talk to a lot of other people like K--I mean Danie and KingRiceFan and Neesy and Debbie and All the rest of you guys!.

Hopefully I will find some more cool people that I click with so I never sign on here and not have someone cool to chat with!

Well what a better way to look then like a HOBO and creepy! It might help him not to get bothered. I had a similar experience when I ran into my favorite band. They were playing at a festival with multiple bands. We booked a hotel right next to where the show would happen. (I was probably 13) I was so obssesed with this band. While we were pulling into the parking lot I said to my brother and his best friend "I am going to meet them you will see" and wouldn't you know it the homeless guy standing outside the hotel begging for change wasn't a homeless guy at all but the Bass player of my favorite band. And in the hotel lobby the rest of the band members. I did not freak out and scream or say OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH I LOVE YOU. I just said mom thats so and so she said no it isn't then she went up to him and said my daughter thinks your the bass player of her favorite band could you just let her know your not. He came up to me took off his hat and said "You want to meet the rest of us!" good times!!!

Here's a tip for ya. If you want to "tag" someone (which will show up in their alerts), just put the @ symbol and start typing the username. A little window will pop up and then click on their username. It will show up underlined in the post, and they will get an alert that you were talking about them! I have also neglected playing guitar to. But that is okay because I have had a maaaad case of music block for like a year straight. It just literally shut off for some reason. I don't know. I just stopped feeling music in my soul. It is weird.

Neesy tried to explain this a while back. I so dumb, I make the guys in dumb and dumber look like Einstein. Is that the only way that an alert appears? I thought it came up when you pressed 'like' down the bottom-right of someone's message.

An alert will appear that way but also if you are watching a certian thread and someone posts on it or if someone replies to your post directly or quotes you.
