We're spoiled down here with an extremely generous spring break, to include Mardi Gras. I guess they figure nobody's coming to school anyway, so might as well let 'em off. I wonder if it would be worth finding out when folks with kids get their spring breaks. Or if it's something folks even want to consider for a Kon...
Only a week here possibly because we also get a week in February that doesn't seem to be the case in many other parts of the country.
Ya. Schools don't even go back in session at the same time. Some folks are already back at school, while others (like us) don't start up again until sometime in August.
We're always scheduled for a week, but sometimes, days are cut to make up for snow days.....sometimes, we only end up with a day.
Florida Spring Break is in march usually.
Or the East coast of Florida. Our algae is a beautiful bright green this time of year.
Maybe it will stick around for St. Patty's Day !
I heard they are changing the name to "Guacamole Shores" down south...

We have to go through this algae mess whenever they have to flush the Lake Okeechobee toilet into our river but this time is about the worst I've ever seen. It's very nasty right now.
....today's touristy stuff included a tour of the Celestial Seasonings Tea Company, and an attempted tour of Coors....Tea-yes!, Beer-No, hour and a half wait in the heat and no free beer to keep me cooled off!...

Thank you, Scott, for sharing. Wow, a neat tea place, but I know you would have preferred the beer. I donot think Busch Gardens in Tampa gives free samples anymore. Have fun!

Never realized they were in Boulder. One of my favor brands and the mint tea is so soothing. Sounds like you and Tracey are enjoying the area.
