Nah

Maybe I read the same posts and I was very close on writing on your Profile Page Mr. Cranky and ask if you are okay. We care, you know.
I don't see what I said should make anybody be concerned about my welfare. When I drink sometimes I talk drivel. It's not fair that my name is constantly faint. That's why I got touchy. Nobody seems to believe me and fog me off saying that my name looks alright to them. I was angry as well last night as I had a western book in my back pocket and when I came home from the pub it must have fallen out somewhere.

Hey there, Mr. Cranky ... Deb has just addressed this in another thread. The reason your name is a lighter colour is because at some point you have chosen to take the 'tick' out of the Show online status option. Meaning that your name does not show up as you being online when you are logged in here. (I'm also using that option right now.)
If you'd like your name to be a darker/brighter colour again, just hover your mouse over your username (top right of page in the same area where you see your alerts) and check the box (with a tick) that says Show online status.

Anyway, I'm confused. Was it an actual pub?

Thanks for that, it's alright now. I couldn't understand why it seemed faint all the time.

A pub is like a bar or a hotel or somewhere where you can go and get a beer or something. Also meals. You can watch sports stuff as well on the screen. Sometimes they have bands.

I love U.K. pubs. When they hear where you are from people just start chatting with you and telling you about the area where they live. And always happy to answer your questions. The food is great and so are the drinks

Plus (on the Isle of Arran, at least, back in 2005) people brought dogs into the bar/pub with them - as long as they are well behaved and just lie on the floor, no one seemed bothered by it :dog::)

First off, (((Mr. Cranky))). As someone else mentioned, we do care. Second, we have several threads devoted to random topics. One is even called Random Thoughts. If you came into one of those threads wondering if Mr. King's dad was in trouble with the law, we might scratch our heads, but not question your welfare. This is the King Kon 2016 thread, and while we may still ramble off topic now and then, it strikes folks as maybe a cause for concern when someone comes in and randomly posts something that seems to have no bearing on anything else in the thread. I have noticed that you have done this before on other threads and since folks don't know why you posted some random thing, most won't respond, except like Sir Giant, who asked if you were ok. I hope that helps. We aren't trying to offend or ignore you. Cheers!

I addressed this quite some time ago when you first brought it up and asked if you were in invisible mode but you never responded to my comment. Perhaps you thought I was being flippant but the question was sincere. I used the term invisible mode as that's what it was called on our last version of the Board software.

I am jumping in here in a very tardy manner to post my pictures from the Kon. I believe
imgur plays nice with the boards.

Immediately after the Kon came gishwhes (the Greatest Internet Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen) which was a week, then led into birthdays at my house.

The reason I mention it is that for gishwhes I had to learn how to use a few things I wasn't familiar with, like imgur and Twitter. I've been reticent to post photos here, but now I think I can do it pretty easily. Yay!

This was while we were waiting to start the tour at the Stanley.
