Re-watched Serpico the other day on Netflix. Pacino is very good in that film.
Went to a midnight 35mm screening of the original theatrical release of Blade Runner last night. It was cool to see it on the big screen as I had never seen it in the theater before. The print was a bit rough until the last 30 minutes or so but still enjoyable.
I do prefer the director's cut of the film to the original theatrical version. The director's cut gets rid of the terrible narration that Harrison Ford does in parts of the film.

I had recorded Misery and it was on my PVR - finally sat down to watch it today - great film! I think Rob Reiner did the book justice and Kathy Bates definitely deserved her Oscar.
This was one of the few adaptations that I enjoyed - I can appreciate both the book and the film on their own merits.

Bates was indeed great, but Caan's performance will always be a favorite of mine.
Re-watched Flight again. Such a great movie.

Yesterday, in our post-meal stupor, we watched 22 Jumpstreet. I fell asleep in the middle but I didn't think it was as funny as the first one.
The Signal Weird little sci fi movie, has Laurence Fishburne and the girl who plays Emma on Bates Motel in it. There are probably a million ways to interpret the ending.
Stir Crazy, the Gene Wilder/Richard Pryor movie. Has been a long time since I've seen this one! Still funny.

Captain America:The Winter Soldier. I liked it even better than when we saw it in the theater. By far the best of the individual (feeding into the Avengers saga) Marvel movies.

I had seen Planet Terror and Death Proof separately on dvd but never in the Grindhouse double feature drive-in format that was intended. I thoroughly enjoyed these movies all over again.

Disagree. It's another I hate that everyone else loves. Might enjoy it if anyone else played the part.
