I'm a big fan of Inarritu. I re-watched Biutiful as it is leaving Netflix. Wow. It is a beautiful film. Painful, grim, intense...yes. Worth it? Absolutely. A true work of art. Bardem nails this role.

I rented Birdman. I'm not sure what to say. I'm still thinking about it. Interesting. :smile2:

Housebound . Absolutely fantastic and Witching and bitching . One of the craziest movies I have seen. Highlights of the latter movie include a gold man with a crown of thorns and a machine gun and another few dressed as one of the green toy soldiers from Toy Story, SpongeBob oh and a 9 year old all robbing a We Buy Gold store.men in Chanel Suits .a bathroom with a hole in the floor and below the hole a man peeking and reaching up to touch your private bits. Excessive finger and ear consumption and a three story's tall nude witch that eats you and you come out the other end with red skin. It was quite something!

That so sounds like something I would enjoy.

Saw Jurassic World today. It was pretty good. I didn't like that while Chris Pratt is the 'star' of it, it mainly focuses on the two kids.
Why does Bryce Howard always play the same type of roles- the ones that you immediatly don't like her and then by the end of the movie she turns into a 'good' person?

Bryce Howard is Ron Howard daughter. I first noticed her in M. Night Shyamalan Lady in the water. I liked the movie and I liked her. Both the movie, Bryce and M. Night got slammed. (Getting hit pretty hard over here. The weather is bad. wifi not working well.)

Man this GET TV movie network is the schnizzel (when it comes in), caught the ever luscious Kim Novak again, in one of her best, her 1957 flick, Jeanne Eagles, with Jeff Chandler, Agnes Moorehead, and Gene Lockhart.
Totally inaccurate story of broadway/silent movie star Jeanne Eagles rise and fall yada yada, the story itself, while first rate, is secondary to the performances, I think it's a masterpiece.
Great old timey carnival scenes, and did I mention Kim Novak, she's terrific...and terrific in this visually stunning 50's black and white, too..ssssmokin'!
