Midnight Special - scifi chase which would be better if questions had been answered
The Man Who Knew Infinity - tolerable biopic of Indian maths genius
Hardcore Henry - violent POV shoot 'em up - like watching a videogame. Exhausting.

Oh man, TCM is trying to kick my ach. Dig the schedule for this Monday:

Bedlam, The Body Snatcher, I Walked With A Zombie, Isle of the Dead, The Ghost Ship, The Seventh Victim, The Leopard Man, Cat People, Curse of the Cat People.

Then Wednesday its another round of Weimar weirdness, spotlighting the work of Fritz Lang (God)--including Metropolis (one of the best flicks from ANY age) and the heller creepy M (with Peter Lorre). My DVR is gonna overdose.
Okay, now I'm wistful for TCM--lol

Meteor (1979) Sean Connery & Natalie Wood

I seem to be on a disaster movie kick. This one is bad but I liked it. I can't explain why except maybe it was because smokin' hot Natalie Wood was in it. There are some horrible special effects of missiles flying through space and some awful dialog but I still liked it.

Natalie Wood played a Russian interpreter. When I first saw the role she was playing, I was thinking it was going to be disastrous. But she was actually very convincing with her Russian. I found out that Natalie's parents were Russian immigrants and that she spoke fluent Russian. Her real name was Natalia Nikolaevna Zakharenko.
