See if you can catch it in 3D - the 3D is really good.Creature From the Black Lagoon
Thank you! I normally avoid 3D like the plague--the often muddy colors and uneven registration give me a headache.See if you can catch it in 3D - the 3D is really good.
Okay, now I'm wistful for TCM--lolOh man, TCM is trying to kick my ach. Dig the schedule for this Monday:
Bedlam, The Body Snatcher, I Walked With A Zombie, Isle of the Dead, The Ghost Ship, The Seventh Victim, The Leopard Man, Cat People, Curse of the Cat People.
Then Wednesday its another round of Weimar weirdness, spotlighting the work of Fritz Lang (God)--including Metropolis (one of the best flicks from ANY age) and the heller creepy M (with Peter Lorre). My DVR is gonna overdose.
It's awful, but it always makes me laugh, if it's the one with Rory Calhoun as the old overall guyMotel Hell. It sucked when I saw it when it first came out, and it still sucked. Did you know that cliff Clavin is one of the people planted?

Motel Hell frickin ROCKS, and you know it.
Now I'm hungry for sausage.
I haven't seen it at the cinema, but on 3D TV the registration is perfect, and the depth (it was filmed in 3D rather than being a post-conversion) is fantastic. The scene with the mirror swimming is amazing.Thank you! I normally avoid 3D like the plague--the often muddy colors and uneven registration give me a headache.
