Have you :lol2:got a good recipe for eggs with veggies Grandpa ? :m_excited:

Dunno if it's a recipe. It's just what I do.

Dice up a slice of onion and brown it. I usually do a mixture of olive oil and butter.
While the onion is browning, throw in diced celery.
Start grating some cheese. I like combos of cheese - cheddar, pepperjack, parmesan, for instance. If you can bear it, get some really nice cheese, an Irish or Welsh cheddar, and flake some of that off. Don't put in the skillet yet.
The onions are browning now, the celery is softening. so throw in some diced bell pepper and sliced mushrooms. I also put in a mild diced chili pepper.
Season with garlic, cilantro, pepper. I have a cheese spice that I like to use. I also put in blackening powder. I just like the taste.
Break eggs into a mixing bowl, add some milk, beat 'em up.
With all those veggies sizzling nicely, pour in the egg mixture. Now is a good time to add any more seasoning you want.
Throw in the cheese.
Once the bottom starts to harden, start scraping and scrambling. You want to mix them up well so that cheese melts in everywhere.
Grandma likes sour cream with hers. I put salsa on mine.

Alternately.... don't put milk in the egg mixture. Just pour it in over the sauteed veggies. Now put a goodly amount of grated cheese in the middle. As the egg hardens, flip one-half of the egg over, or start rolling it up over the cheese in the middle. When it cooks through, voilà! You have an inside-out omelet.

I once put a decapitated mouse head in the microwave for like 3 minutes. The eyes popped out and it just generally looked gross. I only did it because Married with Children had an episode where kelly accidentally put her turtle's head in the microwave and it sounded interesting.
