Still on this side of the sod, maid.
Ew - you called me a maid - is that sexy or what? I guess that sounds better than Madam (that would make me feel even older!)
p.s. Hope life out West is treating you well!

We missed your presence here and I hope things are working out okay and you are feeling much better! :sweet_kiss:

DH is trying to put some CD's onto my phone. One is a bunch of oldies, and the Chuck Berry song The Twist was playing.

Now, I knew what I was hearing was wrong, and I had to look it up.

The real words are: Come on, little miss, and do the twist.

What. I heard: Come on, little b***h, and do the twist.

Like most I misheard Rocketman but I heard it as something that sort of makes sense. I heard "burning lattitudes are there and gone" which I can't help but hear now despite knowing the truth.

I still swear that every other time in ELOs' Oh Oh Oh It's Magic he says "it's my d*ck never believe it's not so". Listen close and tell me I'm wrong. I think he's laughing about getting away with it all these years.

Misheard radio commercial. Not a song, but we can expand.

For a lawn company. First spoke about a daughter..

"She played hide and seek in your back yard, Now she's getting married in it!!"

Then the son one.

"He learned how to piss in your back yard, now the graduation party is being held there!!"

"Look at all the brown, bald spots - We can make your lawn beautiful again"

Whaa?

Oh, he learned how to pitch in the back yard.
