Ah crap. now you ruined it for me. Shouldn’t that have been provided with a "spoiler?" :crushed:

;-D I may have mentioned this before but when we were nagging at him to continue writing The Dark Tower after The Waste Lands had been out a while, that was what he threatened to put out for the next Dark Tower book. ;) Fortunately (or not in some people's opinion), he thought better of it.

LOL, funny. And thanks for the bits of trivia you provide along the way that makes the journey all the more interesting. And some of us still would have paid $19.99 for it ($249.00 for a signed edition) in order to complete our collection. :)

Scribner had been pressuring him to start one and he may be regretting now that he caved. ;)

Sort of thought that was it. It's the PR 'package' now: FB, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest (though I think women are pressured into this one more than men), Tumblr, and whatever other @#^$%#* thing that comes out next. Oh, and the godforsaken BLOG. *smdh* Sorry for the ramble--I feel for him for having to do this crap after all the time he's been writing.

When I heard that, I was like, "Oh man" he just got on Twitter. That stinks. People take things too seriously and you have to be extra careful because Twitter is so short of words. It almost gets everyone in trouble. Social Media is like that though. However, i don't think this applies to King's tweet. I read that tweet and I didn't really see what they were saying at all. I really didn't think much of it. People just like to stir the pot and it's usually done for selfish reasons.

That was how he meant it.

I need my twirling dancer or my ninja emojis--I knew that's how he meant it (LOL). The more I have to deal with social media (and I'm talking about the 'open to everyone' stuff, not the board), the more I dislike and distrust it. Mr. King seems like a genuinely nice guy, and he's definitely a proven writer--he shouldn't have to wade through this sh..tuff.

I just wanted to say it was a great Social Media Management that he said sorry the way he did!
And maybe the word bitchery is a bit tricky when it comes to translations.
I do not know if the misconception started in the States by the way? :hmm:

It's not just a translation from English to another language, it's apparently a regional use of the word that led to misunderstanding what he meant.
