Cheese curds are good. We called them squeeky cheese because they squeek on your teeth when you bite them.I don't think I've ever had or seen a Curd. Does not sound like I want to, fries or not.
Sounds like something I should be at war with (?), or slowly back out of a bathroom from.

Oh gods. Could this get worse sounding? Like the curds or crying in pain or something.
...they have deep fried ones at A & W Root Beer stands......yummmmmm......I've never in my life have seen this. And I have been around. Maybe it was a defense mechanism.
...they have the bestest rootbeer EVER....used to be a drive-in style restaurant-then morphed into a sit down style....they even have them in Canada....A&W Root Beer stands? swoon Floats?
Midwest thing?
Not like it at all to me. Curds taste like cheddar but are a bit rubbery.....they are good.Road trip through Nova Scotia. Circled it. Took me awhile to realize that they weren't drawing deer crossing signs wrong. 'twas an elk.
Then saw this one. And heard it.
Think curd is like cottage cheese? I have a problem with cottage cheese.
Texture thing.
like throw-up you have to do- but don't want to. (sorry)

Love A&WYes, we do have some here. Originally they were the drive in style, then switched to indoor sit-down.

I've been to Indiana a few times. Ohio maybe once. or twice?
Guess I missed out.
We just have east coast stuff. Dairy Queens and such.
We used to have them in New England, too. There may still be some out there but I haven't seen one (in Maine, at least) for quite some time.not_nadine --There used to be an A&W Root beer place across the street from the Philly bus station.
