Do tell (or I will have to Google it).who knows why the snow owl has those feathers around it's beak? I saw that on the documentary on PBS about them.
Owls use small feathers on the beak and the feet that help it feel the prey it catches.who knows why the snow owl has those feathers around it's beak? I saw that on the documentary on PBS about them.
I did know that. We have a sanctuary close by for all type of birds of prey and one of my kids got to go on a field trip there. They are really beautiful. These are owls and falcons etc... that can't be released back into the wild because of some injury. So, they are used as teaching tools.Did you know that they fly very silent? I found that out on this last show about them.
.....the guy or the owl?....I hear one across the road every once in awhile. I don't know if the guy who lives there has him, or if he is up in a tree.
