oh yes, we all had to lie down to get our jeans on, didnt we? I can remember a bunch of us girls getting ready to go for the night at a friend's house. Half the time, we would hold the jeans closed and one of our friends would zip them up. THAT's how tight these things were.

So true!!!
My jeans were so tight that one time a pair got stuck when I was taking them off...I had to ask my mom for help. I was like 19. :a11:

Hi Neesy, I bought it at some wilderness supply place out on Ferry Road. I do shop at MEC though. Almost over the hump and down the hill!
I'll have to go check that out - Hope it keeps you nice and toasty! :snowman::confused:

Now that I think about something I bought that I regretted - Andy and I were supposed to go for a horse drawn sleigh ride many moons ago.

Long story short we went to Bird's Hill Park (where they were doing the sleigh rides) but it turned out I had booked it at some other joint (it was nearby but by the time I called the other place they had already left) :(:sorrow:

Yikes! 80 bucks up in smoke :facepalm_smiley: I felt pretty darn foolish that day
:flat:

Arkansas
I got the bright idea my senior year of high school (1991) that what would really add to my look was an authentic Australian Outback full length duster jacket....I still have no idea why, how, or who planted that absurd idea in my head. I was working after school so I saved up $200.00, a crap load of money for a senior in high school back then, walked into this safari store that used to be in business in Fayetteville, slapped the cash down and was told by the clerk I had purchased a truly superior jacket....I guess I forgot I lived in Arkansas or something. I bought the jacket on the weekend, so first thing Monday I roll up into the school parking lot, jump out of my car, adjust my duster, roll the sleeves up like we were prone to do back then, and head toward the front door of the school prepared to start a new fashion trend. That happened at around 7:45am. By 8:05 am, right before the first bell, I sprinted back to my car, rolled the duster into a ball and locked it in the trunk of my car. For those 20 minutes or so, I was the pariah of the school. It seemed like a good buy that weekend, but it was never worn again and my mom sold it in a yard sale for something like five bucks. Everyone addressed me using a cheesy Australian accent for the rest of the year.....that included most of the students and a majority of the teachers...
