I really don't see what you found clever in it. It has abuse, loneliness, shades of puppy mills and the people who run them, and general cold-heartedness.

?? yeah the pup gets adopted (sold) and shipped off. It did not make me happy for the pup.
It's not for real!!!
It's a parody, satire, etc. Granted, it's not for everyone, but I find it funny.

It glorifies puppy mills. It's cold-hearted and calculated.

It also did its job. Commercials are made to gain attention for the company, and look how much chatter Go Daddy's getting because of it. It's pretty disgusting. I'm yanking my site from Go Daddy today. No more of that.

Oh god. I am sorry this ad was just so bad in the end.

I am glad you made it home because I sold you on this website I made...:facepalm_smiley:

"Ship him out!" And Danica Patrick is driving the delivery truck. Yeah, Go Daddy. We noticed that.

Just got off the phone. The customer service guy asked me why I wanted to cancel my service.
I said "I saw the puppy mill commercial."
The guy said "You do realize that that was a test commercial and isn't going to be aired."
I said "Go daddy made it. The public saw it. I saw it. Cancel my service."
And it's gone. I'll be rebuilding on Yahoo. Or Wix. Or Weebly. Or Wordpress. Anyplace but there.

This is my last word on this subject and then I'm outta here...

We all read and pretty much Love SK's writing. Over the years he has killed, skewered, mangled and vilified men, women, children, gays and animals. Some of us have gotten upset over this and stopped reading SK, but most of us wait eagerly for each new release. Why? Because we all know it is a work of fiction.

I see this commercial as a work of fiction: a satire on how Go Daddy's services can be used. Was the ad in bad taste? Sure, if this kind of stuff bothers you. If not, then it was clever and funny, like I found it. Once again, I love animals, especially puppies. I in no way saw this ad as abusing puppies or condoning puppy mills.

Thanks for reading.
