Oprah is always slightly slimy. Okra, however, is good when it's crispyOprah is slimy unless you cook it right.
I absolutely love fried green tomatoes! The light crust, the salt, all set off by the tang. Now I want one. It's so good that I eat it like popcorn by itself. Like Skimom said, light and crispy, not burned. FGT are delicious, too, if you can stand the sharp, bitter green taste.
It can be either. My husband makes a chipotle mayo that's really good with fried okra and FGT, if you have it as an appetizer.I was thinking of them as an appetizer, but after seeing your pic, fried okra looks like it's more of a side dish.
I love fried okra, and tomatoes and okra.
Me too, man. Love some okra in minestrone. Everybody I know hates okra. And cilantro...nobody likes cilantro. I don't mind it...ain't crazy about it, but I don't despise it like most of these cats I know.
I'm really digging that new Sriracha Ranch dressing from the good people at Hidden Valley Ranch. I vow to find this 'hidden' valley someday, and discover their sacred dressing secrets.
Mmmm, I love Sriracha sauce; I will have to try this Sriracha ranch dressing of which you speak.Me too, man. Love some okra in minestrone. Everybody I know hates okra. BTW, I love cilantro, especially in my guacamole.
"cheap, inferior," 1896, from Urdu chiz "a thing," from Persian chiz, from O.Pers. *ciš-ciy"something," from PIE pronomial stem *kwo- (see who). Picked up by British in India by 1818 and used in the sense of "a big thing" (especially in the phrase the real chiz). By 1858, cheesy had evolved a slang meaning of "showy," which led to the modern, ironic sense.
I wanna see Shia LaBeouf and Joeseph Gordon Levitt fight to the death with rusty, jagged instruments. The winner gets a quick death.
Now, see. I'm one of the only people I know who liked Jar Jar. He seemed so vulnerable, I guess the mom in me came out. I didn't want anyone to be mean to him. I didn't want him to get hurt.I think people love to overreact to Justin Beiber and jar jar Binks.

My son said he is a very racist character. I had no idea!
