Speaking of The Princess of Evil, Ringwald said a few years back in an interview that she wants to direct a movie. I'm not kidding. So far, nothing has come of it, either due to a lack of funds or lack of confidence on Ringwald's part. It would definitely be interesting to see what she's like behind a camera rather than in front of it.

I don't know what her style of filmmaking or influences would be like. She's said that she likes the anime films of Hayao Miyazaki, and speaks very highly of the great John Hughes. She's also love European cinema, from what I've gathered, and even starred in a couple of French comedies when she was over there.

Thank God they remade The Shining. I could only take so much of her running around in kulots and crying with a cigarette in her hand. My brother said, in this movie, she's all hair and teeth. I wouldn't go that far. That's harsh, lol.

I am still learning to read with my progressives. I need a show. Similar to Stranger Things - that's the kind of show I dig.

I really liked Bloodline. It has Sissy Spacek in it. Two seasons and third coming. It isn't supernatural, though. I became engrossed in it from episode one. Try it if you haven't watched.

Spoiler: Major Spoilers!

John kidnaps Eric and puts a gun to his head. He knows Eric knows he killed Danny and was planning on telling Marco. They argue and John has a sort of epiphany and lets Eric go free. Kevin is being harrassed by Marco and wants to come clean, he's sick of hiding. He says, "John did it." Marco turns on him and says he will make sure all three siblings go to prison. Kevin reacts by grabbing a ceramic dolphin statue and hitting Marco in the head, killing him. John is last seen leaving town with ghost Danny smiling and smoking in passenger seat. Meg confronts Sally at the resort and tells her she needs to tell her something. She is about to come clean. End of season. At least watch the last two episodes. It was a winding, meandering season that tried my patience at times, but over all I liked the complex storytelling.
