You guys have heard of Heifer International, right? Have any of you ever given an animal? I am very intrigued by this and want to give a goat.

Four years ago I gave each of my daughters a flock of chicks through Heifer. Last year I gave my son-in-law a hive of bees.

Heifer's a great organization! As stocking stuffers this year, I'm giving everyone a holiday card saying that a tree has been planted in their honor. I got the cards from the National Wildlife Federation (another great organization) for $5 each.

Today she informed my brother (who lives with her) that she told the landlord they'd be out of the house they've rented for the last 3 years by the end of the month. No warning, no plans, no money with which to make a major move. Now he's dropped it in my lap. I think I need a drink of epic proportions.

Not too much yet-- I still have to pick up LilMan from the party he's at & take him to bingo at the church Every year our church does a bingo that has all toys for presents--my kids have all loved it for years. After that, though, I may get crap-faced (lol).

My mom's been using it as a hair conditioner for years-maybe more like a "mask" or "treatment." I think it works really well if you leave it on for awhile then rinse it out.

Okay, I've got a question. Obviously Stephen King is my FAVORITE author-I read and reread his work daily. But I'm actually not a "horror" fan at all-I'm very squeamish and overly sensitive. Would anyone care to psychoanalyze me?!
