Yes, I actually binge watched season one and was able to watch by the time the second season began. I didn't think I'd want to watch it for the same reasons. Brilliant writing and superb acting won me. I was surprised at just how much I related to Walt, which is sort of troubling, lol. Did you and your husband like Skyler? I don't know why she got so much hate online. I thought she was an equally complex character.

We both were not fans of Skylar, but it didn't turn to something close to "hate" until the whole Ted thing (don't want to say more because there are a few people who haven't watched the series yet...not sure what they're waiting for???). I know why she did everything she did, but my loyalties were still with Walt then.

But I think it's flattering to Anna Gunn that she played that character so well as to invoke such intense hatred in the fans.

I give credit to anyone who was a fan while the show was still airing new episodes. I could barely wait til the next day to stream my BB fix, let alone week to week or (God forbid!) season to season!

Ikr? I was so invested in this show and the last season nearly ripped out my heart. I won't elaborate but I'm sure you know where I'm headed. We won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it. I know it sounds ridiculous but there were a couple times I couldn't eat because my nerves were shot, no lie. Many friends said they felt that way, too. Now TWD is killing me, lol.

I'm waiting until after the holidays to try again.
I gave "the Man in the High Castle" a chance, but it was terrible. I really wanted to like it, but could barely get through the pilot.

I noticed they found an copy of a Sherlock Holmes film starring William Gillette. Apparently it was sitting in some basement in Paris. Many of the mannerisms and off-the-cuff sayings were apparently Gillettes ideas.

...from the "for what it's worth" department, Tracy and I are inveterate watchers of The Black List with James Spader.....

Thanks, maybe after Americans.

I would recommend House of Cards, American version.

Thanks, but we tried that one and even though I think Kevin Spacey is a great actor, I didn't like the whole talking-to-the-audience thing.

Oh, now I loved that! They sort of stepped away from that in Season 3, and it lost something for me. But , season 4 he is back to including the audience in his thoughts.

Man Seeking Woman - Jay Baruchel

I just discovered this comedy. It's in its first season and is on FX (one of the FX channels - same one with the OJ series). I caught an ad for this and it looked interesting so I watched a couple episodes and think it's hilarious. The back episodes are available on demand on direct tv. I've only seen a couple episodes but it looks like Jay's character goes through a different painfully funny and surreal relationship problem each episode. A little raunchy and hilarious.
