Maybe now... after I've stopped drinking lake water. But back then I was mistaken for this guy on numerous occasions... :)

The Sixth Sense.
I know not everyone is a fan of M. Night, (even I'll agree he has done some horribly bad films) but that is one of my favorite movies, even though I've only watched it twice since I first saw it in the theater. It chills me.
And the scene where...
Cole tells his mom the answer to his (deceased) grandmother's question...I sob every time.
...I get choked up just thinking about it.

Figured out the "twist" in this movie right from the get go. Still, not a bad film though.

I actually got 3 hours of English credit for a course called "The Horror Film as Literature." It was a night class, so we got to watch a movie and then discuss, and we had to write a paper about each movie as well as a final term paper (to weed out the nonwriters). It was great: everything from Jaws to The Exorcist, and from The Walking Dead to Nightmare on Elm Street.

The only one that really scared me--as in, deep-down, stay-with-you, disturbingly scary--was Rosemary's Baby. I can't believe FireGurl26 watched it preggers!!

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre grossed me out. Completely. I couldn't eat barbecue for ages.

The only movie to ever traumatize me is "little shop of horrors" I saw a picture of Audrey the plant when I was three and despite being more of a comedy I don't ever want to see it again, it triggered my irrational phobia of Venus Fly Traps : (

Escape From Sobibor. That movie has actually traumatised me, I don't EVER want to see it again. Some things in there...

A newborn being shot from a very close range, a little girl running away from the line for the gas chamber and then getting mauled by a dog for it. The thought alone gives me a severe stomach ache.

On a lighter note, yes, Rosemary's Baby. Gah.
