My regular eye doctor is one of the best. My retina specialist is the largest here and he is very good. We do have insurance. The cost is not as bad as it could be. Right now just trying to think things through before deciding on the next step.

Saw the eye doctor on Monday. Good news I get new glasses findly/
, Ordered them yesterday. The hole in my eye is beyond repair,so basically blind in one eye. Thank God for the the other eye which has perfect sight.

I am glad that you get new glasses. I wish both eyes were topnotch, but so happy you found help with at least one!
Apparently the bleeding is why the hole is there and the first special should have done surgery right away to save sight in that eye. But glad I got one that caught the other eye in time. You adjust to using one eye and amazed at what you can still do.

It's kind of bittersweet news, but I am happy that you won't be having any more trouble with your eyes (at least I hope that all will be forever well and that you will be fine). (((Linda)))
