Dynamite was also...perhaps it still is...made from bat and bird guano. There was a local business, Atlas Powder, that supplied dynamite to the local mines...we're talking a bunch of dynamite. They had these things called "angel buggys" that they used to move the material from one place/building to another...and it was all hush-hush...guys who worked there acted like they were working for...something. (Dupont Spinners...the fishing tackle.)

Cymatics (from Greek: κῦμα "wave") is the study of visible sound and vibration, a subset of modal phenomena. Typically the surface of a plate, diaphragm, or membrane is vibrated, and regions of maximum and minimum displacement are made visible in a thin coating of particles, paste, or liquid. Different patterns emerge in the excitatory medium depending on the geometry of the plate and the driving frequency.
