I’m 6 foot even. Visiting Hawaii one year while the college basketball tournaments were going on, I went on a snorkeling expedition. In the little bus to Hanauma Bay were me and members of the Michigan basketball team. For the first time in my life I kinda knew what it felt like to be short. I definitely felt ‘different.’

I love short girls!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect resting your beer on.............

I know you are joking. (Well, at least I hope you are.) but when I was a teen there was a guy who used to do cr@p like that. He would lean on top of my head, or put his beer there. Right up until the day I poured a beer down his pants.

Seriously dude! When you having been teasing and harassing a girl, do NOT let her undo your pants in a crowded room. It will not end well.

I've never been all that self-conscious about my slightly-short self except when....

1) I went to Japan and felt tall.
2) I found myself in a buffet line with what must've been a college women's volleyball or basketball team. Yikes. So much for any Neanderthal-ish feelings about male dominance.
