I really like Boys of Summer, and somewhat Dirty Laundry. But I love this...Nah, I agree, the Eagles are pretty boring....
Life in the Fast Lane is probably my favorite by them.... and Boys of Summer by Don Henley is in my top 20 all time favorite songs (like I keep a list... LOL)
I like Get Over It, by the Eagles, and I love his song, For My Wedding.I really like Boys of Summer, and somewhat Dirty Laundry. But I love this...
He won a Grammy for best vocals. Can't stand Elvis, Bob Marley or any rap music.
Bob Dylan is an amazing songwriter, but he can't sing for sh*t.
He won a Grammy for best vocals.
I've always loved Tull.Jethro Tull won a grammy for best heavy metal album once. Shows you how clueless they can be.
Dylan is a great songwriter though.
I've always loved Tull.
Honestly, I haven't listened to a lot of their later stuff, their second incarnation, so I don't know. What kind of Grammy was it?Fair enough but would you ever classify them as a heavy metal band?

Stoppit. That was the experimental year when deaf people were allowed to judge.
I remember that one. Horrifying. I remember how terrified Kirk Hammett looked when Metallica started in on One--poor guy.Fair enough but would you ever classify them as a heavy metal band?

Splain.
I should listen to the Tull in order to be able to have an opinion. In 1988 Jethro Tull won the best heavy metal album Grammy over Metallica.
I'm not a huge Metallica fan but they are most definitely a heavy metal band and Jethro Tull is definitely not a metal band.
Kirk Hammett is the lead guitarist for Metallica. They were the first real metal band to play at the Grammys, and their nominated song was called One. He's a pretty shy guy, and he was visibly shaking for the first part of the song. and then they lost to Jethro Tull and their tooty fluting. I was disgusted.Splain.
