This weekend, I actually asked if I could borrow my uncle's power saw. I told him that the railings on my porch are rotted, and I need to cut and install new ones.....he told me no, and said that he would cut new ones, and I can help install them.....which means I get to hand him drill bits and wood screws, and cook lunch.......
He does, but he's bound by some sort of sacred oath that apparently all my uncles entered into when they learned how very clumsy I am......It goes something like....I promise that I will never allow Marla to even plug in a power tool.....not ever.
No, I mean I thought he understands what I understand...
What is that?.....my uncle loves me, and tries his best to keep me from harm.
