In our move I've come across a few books that I hadn't seen for a while. One of them is a book of questions meant to initiate discussions. I'd like to share a few one or two (no more than three) at a time. Have at it!

1. If you could wake up tomorrow with a new talent or ability, what would it be?

2. Is there anyone you envy enough to trade lives with?

3. Would you be willing to murder an innocent person if it would bring peace to the world? How about a not-so-innocent person? If the latter, explain why the one and not the other.

1. If you could wake up tomorrow with a new talent or ability, what would it be?-to speak Hispanic fluently, or to be able to play guitar....maybe be an ace mechanic and welder....hell, that's a toughie.....

2. Is there anyone you envy enough to trade lives with?-nope, in looks?-yes....Sam Elliott.....

3. Would you be willing to murder an innocent person if it would bring peace to the world? How about a not-so-innocent person? If the latter, explain why the one and not the other.-I wouldn't whack an innocent, because they are....but, I wouldn't hesitate to take a low life out.....

1. I would like to be able to draw or sketch. Could be got for a job.
2. Someone rich maybe.
3. Both maybe. It's sounds strange but I once have seen a movie or series where Hitler was killed as a baby because hiy nanny thought he was evil which he was as an adult. But I am not sure I could really do it.

Absolutely NO! The grass does often look greener on the other side, but sometimes you learn that the sewage still stinks.

2. Ms Mod. I figure that's about as close as anybody can get to being god-like. :):)
3. In general one must first ask... Do the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few? If you truly believe the answer to be yes then the answer to the question would also have to be yes, unless you are okay with being responsible for the deaths of millions. But for me, no in either case in the premise, because as terrible as it sounds war is necessary to keep our population in check.

Immortal antibodies. I wouldn't want to be immortal, because that would just be crappy, but to never be sick again? That's be pretty cool. Old age would eventually get me, but no more stuffy noses! ;;D

Nah. I'm pretty content with my life the way it is.

I'd like to say I would, greater good and all that, but most likely I wouldn't. Heck, I can't even squish spiders... :confused:
