Hobbies vary with the seasons...will be starting my vegetable garden soon, maybe in another week and that takes quite a bit of time. Being self-employed doesn't leave much free time and after 25 years as such I don't know what I'm missing...free time. Summer, I'll start the grill when I get home and weed the garden as the coals warm...put on something to grill...and weed some more...does beer drinking count? Getting older sucks but there's always beer. I'll have an open beer by the grill working up a sweat for me and I'll budget some time to take a good long pull between grilling and weeding. Reading. That's a given. Writing when I can find time. I've enjoyed fishing, stream fishing, walking them...float tube fishing on small inland lakes. Hunting...come fall I thoroughly enjoy sitting in a tree for an hour or two after work. Great way to unwind. That continues on through the end of December and the tool I use changes with the months...cross-bow, rifle, muzzle-loader, compound bow. And I like to get out in the bush regardless of the season and walk around...snowshoes winter...boots or sandals warmer weather I'll pick up garbage that other knuckleheads leave behind shake an innocent tree and then apologize. No one is watching. Save those satellites up there. I'm fond of tinfoil, too.
