TNT Is Rebooting Tales From the Crypt With M. Night Shyamalan

I am so excited! I own every season of the HBO Tales from the Crypt. I can't wait. Yes, it was cheesy and wonderful and very comic bookish, and it was wonderful!

That's great news. I loved every episode of that show.

The first episode will be about a Personal Assistant who works for a world-renowned horror writer that lives in Maine. Said P.A. is all set to retire in an increasingly small number of months and is constantly posting on the famous author's website (of which she is a Moderator) how many months/days/hours/minutes/seconds she has left until she can lay around doing nothing for years on end, only to discover that she has sold her soul to the Famous horror author and CAN NEVER RETIRE!!!!!!!!!!! ;;D Moderator

Shamalama Ding Dong? Bah.

Read the original comics.

Eek, that sounds like grumpy morning muskrat talk. Ah hem, well, perhaps it won't suck too much. M. Night Shamalan's penchant for twist endings would work better in a shorter format. Tacking those O Henry zingers at the end of feature length movies just doesn't cut my mustard, sir. S'why I never dug his movies.

I actually liked The Sixth Sense and The Village (which many critics despised). They both got me. Never saw the twists. I'm usually pretty astute at picking up on clues. I agree with your assessment that it would work better in shorter format. I'm anxious to see what tricks he's yet to show us.
