I dropped a machete into my leg about two years ago.

I was cutting overhead, too extended, and lost my grip upon strike.

Slow motion flippety flop spiral down, and I must have dodged a bit (not enough) because it missed my face and neck.

Neat divot on my right calf. Lotta blood. No doctor or tet shot. Self-reliance, but let me tell you that high-test rubbing alcohol on a big wound will make your teeth ache.

Still purple, still "ashy" as they say, but I call it "Cookie Monster."

I absolutely love tattoos. And I love watching all the tattoo shows that are on right now. I actually record them. But I would never have one. After all, I am a squirrel. One minute I would be really into something and in a blink -- I'd would want something else instead.

Be careful out there! (this is the strangest way of getting a tattoo yet - yikes :hurt:)

One of our kids likes 'em. One of our kids adores 'em. One of our kids thinks they're stupid. How did that happen?

Anyway, my skin is clear. Of tattoos, anyway. Apparently, I just want to talk aimlessly.

However, I have thought of two tattoos, neither one of which I'd ever get. Just a thought. A scorpion where no one but Grandma would see it. Or covering my whole back with a wolf head and face. However, given my follicular state, it would be a wolf peering out of a grassy field, which would kinda detract from the effect.

I have one little tiny tiny heart on my shoulder. I got it (well, my sister made me get it) when we both got motorcycles at age 17. Big bad ass, thought I was. I can cover it with a dot of makeup.

I have told the horror story of my sisters devil tattoo and the what happened to it during her pregnancy before. :Oo:
