I'm that way, too. I rarely proofread, being certain I've hit the keys I've meant to, and the message ends up very humorous to the person receiving it. Sometimes autocorrect is invoked - in my defense, sometimes unnecessarily - and the resulting message is downright charming. Fortunately, the folks I text tend not to be code mavens. I have recently learned what TTYL means. Talk to you later.

What's "predictive text"?I used to think LOL meant lots of love... had no idea until fairly recently what ROFL meant... I'm so old school I don't even use predictive text. Which is a bit of a bummer 'cos I can't blame auto correct for my spelling bloopers.

It’s an exclamation of annoyance and exasperation (as in “argh”), with extra pirate emphasis added.I'm still trying to figure out what ARGGGH means.
Well, no. I used to be from San Bernardino though. You wouldn't happen to be from Pasadena would you?

For a long time on this board I couldn't figure out why you guys put parentheses around a person's name when you were trying to console them. From the context I kinda figured out it meant hugs but I'm still not sure if I'm right!
Yeah.... more like "Obviously Paranoid" or "Obstinately Preposterous"Or in the case of my postings in the Politics section...
