Hello Tet! Kurben - sorry to hear about your job! Hope you find something soon! Jojo87 - you too! Though you're such a doll, I can't imagine that you wouldn't be their pick! Wulfman - so sorry to hear about your grandpa. Loss lingers, so it does. Lepplady Woohoo! Good riddance to bad rubbish. I feel sorry for his dogs, but happy they're going to be out of your life! muskrat is that you in that avatar?

Peace and love to all my SKMB friends, not mentioned above - I think about you all so much. I'm just still swamped. That's a good thing in some ways, and in other ways.... ick. I used to have more down time. I like a little down time. Plus, I'm not making it to the gym. And that's never a good thing for me.

The bad news: the a/c died (fixed now, but dang!), the dryer died (the Ogre bought a new one); the refrigerator died on the 4th of July, (God willing they'll fix it tomorrow); I got a new crack in my windshield this morning - glad I haven't fixed the last 2 yet; and then I messed up the garage door opener by hitting it with the lawnmower. Fortunately the Ogre was able to fix that. That's 5: 2 more than the "bad things happen in 3s" myth.

But hey, no one in the family is in the hospital or jail right now, so we're good!

The good news: I did enjoy my spa day last week. I won't go on and on about it but if you've never done such a thing, try to make it happen. I forgot how much tension the body holds on to.

Hey, have any of you taken the Lumosity fit test? I'm just going to go ahead and warn you: they're trying to make you think you need their product. According to them, I am nowhere near as brilliant as I thought was. I think I'm offended, but I'm too dim to know it.:hammer:

Look at me complain and then give y'all an epistle to get through. I'll just be St Paul tonight:

Brothers and sisters: well, I'm just playing, but Paul did have some good words this past Sunday - I wonder what his affliction was. Someone told me epilepsy once, I'm not sure anyone really knows.

Be good or be good at it!
It might be a good time to buy a lottery ticket!

I'm sorry guys, I don't have time to look back through all of these right now, wondering how Lepplady did in court last week?
Hope everyone else is doing good!
Dude was found guilty. He appealed immediately, so it's not over, but he has 2 weeks to move the pups, so it's a win for me whatever happens after this.

He'll be fine, (((Neese))).

Where's he coming from, Neesy? Has it been a while since you've seen him?

I'm sure he's okay, Neesy! :)

Thanks - yes, he managed to catch the last bus and made it home by 0130 - so I am tired today. Andy thinks I worry too much about him, but he is 'challenged' and so gullible. He is more vulnerable as a result.

He went across town to see a movie (his fiancee is out in the country visiting her relatives) and he is at loose ends these days.

You guys are good! I did not see your messages until just now :okay::biglove:

Scorcher today. Got up to 74 I think it was...almost unbearably hot. Working inside though so all is well and all manner of things are well...drywalling. Fun day tomorrow, sanding. Yee-haw. Another form of white. But not cool. Not many calls before the 4th, but at least three afterward, window jobs, kind of work I like to do...plus, the local gas supplier (gas heat, stove, water heater) is offering a $70 rebate...per window...among other things, furnaces, various forms of insulation. If you remodel this year, it'd pay to check with your utilities supplier, as I was unaware of this rebate offer until a window customer tuned me in. So I'm back-tracking. Propane users need not apply...fuel oil, same boat...wood burners, nope. One job I looked at tonight, lady is a Stephen King fan...about a dozen or more hardbacks in the bookcase there...the red and white cover...Insomnia? Before I started in on his stories anyway. Asked if she's a fan...yes...have you read Finders Keepers yet? Nope...not yet. Me neither. As the song has it.

Me neither!

Can't remember how the rest of it goes. That's the chorus...or whatever they call it. Refrain? Me! Neither! I did go sniffing books at Book World on Shelden and they had 4-5 hardbacks there...#1 on the Best Seller list, hey? I'm holding off...though I did pick up a copy and read the first line...that I forget...Anderson's disease. So much has never been a burden to me as I am able to forget some things almost moments after they happen...other things, they're right there stomping at the gate, ready for another go-round. You?

Me! Neither!

You are a
artistic adventurer
You are very artistic and long for adventures. You try to be a good human being and often put others ahead of yourself - but don't forget that you shouldn't neglect yourself. You love nature and animals and spend a lot of time outdoors. You can be a bit strict sometimes, but only to people that deserved it. You have trouble trusting others because you have been hurt often already. You have a great sense of humor that a lot of people could learn something from. You are truly unique.

You are like a
a wild flower
You are spontaneous and live life to the max. You are an idol for many because you have a strong soul. You try to stay out of drama and always have good intentions. You are nice to everybody until they give you a reason not to. You love to have fun, but you also know when it's time to be responsible. You are also very loyal.

Interesting.
