It is a beautiful day here today. Around 90F, with a slight breeze. I think I'll go sit on my deck and read for a while. :)I'm going to be so depressed when Summer ends and it starts

So I haven't been here (meaning SKMB) much. Honestly, I've been here about all I can. If you think of summer (on the northern hemisphere, in deference to our southern hemisphere friends) as being June through August, approximately 12 weeks, I've been out of my home for five and a half of them so far. I'm still another week and a half on this current assignment.

It's good work, and it's good money, and I'm not complaining. But the time runs short. I thought I'd have some free time during this traveling, but I was mostly wrong. Grandma's indicating she'd actually like to sleep with me sometime, I need to play with the grandkids, I have a bit of a social circle to attend to when I do get home, and I don't want my local clients to get restless.

So it all leads up to not much SKMB time. Heck, not much time at all for a lot of the things I otherwise want.

So I've tried to be here, and I'll be here again as I can. In the meantime, I do miss the best forum and its people that I've ever participated in, in my 20 years, more or less, of foruming.

Nothing wrong with that at all. If my hair stylist moved to a new salon, I'd follow her to the new place without thinking twice.

Hi Grandpa ! You definitely need to go sleep with Grandma! Good to see you. I've been gone too, but I'm on my way back.

Sundrop I don't think I'd have a problem with a male masseuse (masseur?), I've just never been scheduled with one before. But I do think if I had someone I knew did a good job - I'd go where they moved. I'm about to go get another massage. I'd forgotten how stress can really get in your bones - a good massage can really get it out.

Moderator I didn't know you were a LMT! That's so cool. I'd love to be one. I do a pretty good job with the Ogre and I give a mean hand massage to friends sometimes. Your hands hold so much tension, I love getting and giving a hand massage.

do1you9love? I'm in the midst of month end as well. And our fiscal year ended June 30th - so that's finally complete. I'm kind of a nerd though - month end is a little bit fun. I love how the numbers all make sense. It's thrilling to me.

Neesy Enjoy Andy 1 more day! I miss you around here - we're never on at the same time anymore.

I have been washing. Not the most fun thing to do but i must say that my wasching machine is, perhaps not the best, but certainly the most loyal machine ever. I've had it for 30 years and it still works. It gets the job done. It is a bit louder than todays machine and a bit slower but i like a machine that doesn't break into little pieces when guarantee is gone.

Kurben That's an impressive machine - we've been through 4 washing machines in 24 years.

There are two giant scary cicadas on my patio this morning. Nasty creatures. The simple minded dog keeps trying to eat them.
