Oh man.

I just got an email. One word. "Hey". From a gmail account, no address.

I knew it was from the love of my life. My heartlove.
I responded, "Hey babyheart."

It was her. I knew it. My niece. So long since I have heard from her.
I am cryin. And don't know how to respond when she said she was thinking of me and lost my number.

We were so close. Did everything for her and with her since she was born.

Hell, the last time I saw her, we went to the Dominican Republic. Punta Cana. 4 yrs ago? She moved to California. Never heard from her again. And I don't do FB.

Broke my heart. I hate the holidays. I don't know how to respond.

I have too much going on. I want to be happy Aunt Nadine when I speak with her.

Right! Lots to be thankful for. Thanks for the update OoO! Big hugs to you and the wifey!
(((Jojo))) Glad you weren't hurt!

24 hours after my surgery and I am doing well. The doc was very pleased with how healthy the rest of my mouth was (especially compared to the one tooth) and actually skipped a step which will get me faster to complete.
No straw needed, I just have to avoid things like poppy seeds, nuts, anything hard that could damage the implant before I get the crown on (around 12 weeks). And try to chew on the other side. Which is the wrong side of course.
Hugs to all! Enjoy the holiday!
Eww - crowns - I hate those things! I hope you heal up soon - take care. Glad you have a good dentist - it's nice to have someone you can trust.
:doc:

Based on your associations with the abstract, you are the kind of person who pays attention to very close detail. You have a deep sense of humanity and you understand people well - you are tender but also cautious. You have a fairly organized life and have a well-developed sense of speech and writing as well as other forms of communication. You often assume the care-taking role in your relationships with others. One of your greatest flaws is that you are highly critical of yourself which can cause you to stress out easily. You make an excellent lover and crave the feeling of being desired and appreciated. You give great advice and people trust you for guidance and wisdom.

Based on your associations with the abstract, you are an intuitive, sentimental and emotionally sensitive person. You can be hard to get to know and are very internal about your emotions. Sometimes you have mood swings where you can act selfish and go into fits of rage, but one of your strengths is persistent determination. You really value the feeling of home, family and comfort. You enjoy the simple things in life and you are very dedicated and loyal in your personal relationships. You always look out for the well-being of others.

Someone tell a joke

Okay - not really a joke, but:

Just drove my son to bowling, dropped him off and on the way home I saw a clown driving a car. :m_cruise:

I did a double take (she was going by as I was turning left). Red rubber nose, curly wig etc. I was going to follow to see where she was going, but we have about 2 - 3 inches of snow right now on the roads.

Even with four wheel drive it wasn't worth the bother :m_curious:

Very nice! I have one question about the picture, though:

Just wear did those fuzzy balls come from?

Oh honey - you know what I think is going on. The wheel of Ka is turning and you're meant to be back in touch with family. Whatever the reason. I always get my hackles up when I hear from a long lost beloved friend or relative. I wonder: what do you need? why haven't I heard from you in forever? are you going to make me cry? But what's the worst that could happen? If it gets uncomfortable, you say "I can't do this right now." If it's wonderful, you've got some joy in your life. The worst that could, in my opinion, would be to not put yourself out there. I think this is going to be good for you.

Don't withhold. You'll regret that. I sure do. Two people, gone for good, and I didn't say what needed to be said. I light candles, have my crazy Catholic rituals, beg them to hear me. I'll never know.

OK then - I've got to go teach CGS. I'll be back with a funny gif.

I used to see clowns driving in cars by me, pretty often. :rapture: Guess I lived in kid party zone.

It got to the point where the person I was driving with, would point and say, "clown!"

I would look and say, "where? I don't see nothin"

Then it was a running joke. Whenever saw another one.
