Winter came but won't stay. Forecast says that next week it's going to be warmer again so all the snow melt then.

Car can be replaced. You can't. Thank goodness you're okay.
I'm a tiny short person, so I like a tiny little car to dart around in. They're better on gas, too. ;)

I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and a great week while the board is closed. It'll be really cold here on Thanksgiving, (high of 27 F), but I don't have to leave the house, so I should live. Haha...:D I'll be looking forward to reading all the posts when everyone is catching up after the break!

Here's a holiday picture of a little me. Apparently cardboard fireplaces were stylish Christmas decor. And polyester boy clothes were all the rage. I do have my go-go boots on though.

I wonder what the kids all it these days? I have a 24 year old I could ask. Do you know what they do? They "pre-game" at someone's apartment and then call Uber. Gone are the days of having a designated driver. Can you imagine? I often got nominated to be the designated because I'm such an idiot when I drink. And I puke.

It's like a cab service but cheaper. And people just use their own cars. So you sign on with Uber to be a driver and then when someone needs a ride somewhere they find you via the iphone ap and you pick them up and be their driver. Here - once you get to the general vicinity of the clubs, you can walk to most of them. And then you find another Uber when you need to be picked up. It's a different world than we knew.

My son uses ubers all the time.
