BTW.....did you know that Blackbeard was beheaded at Springer's Point on Ocracoke? Legend tells that after they cut off his head, he swam around the boat 3 times......
How bout that? I think if my head was cut off - swimming would be the last thing on my mind. Unless of course I was looking for it.

Hi-ho all. Just dropped by for a quick drink.
Had a great family day yesterday. Had all 4 kids together with us. That doesn't happen much anymore now that they are all grown or near it. We went over to Tampa and did one of the escape puzzle rooms. We did the most difficult one and missed the record by 5 minutes. It was our first time doing one. If you haven't done this before, it is a ton of fun. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely do it again.
We then went out to a local park and had a picnic. We stayed home that evening and watched some fireworks we could see from our house. We ended the day watching "Independence Day". The kids hadn't seen it. It's a cheesy movie, but good mindless, explosion entertainment.

I can smile at least a little because I am off from work tomorrow. I am also off on the weekend. But unfortunately Juho is working this
weekend so we can't do anything fun together, we aren't going to see each other much anyway this week, because he's working from
7am to 10pm everyday this week. We only spend time together when we go to bed and sleep. But hopefully we get some more
time to do something next week when he and I come home from work. I really miss our time together and when I don't see much
of him this week.

Oh, I wantchez to know I love yez all. I'll poke at some of yez now and then when I think you need some lampooning. Truth is...I don't know any more'n you cats, on any given day, but I think we're all Ka-Tet, we's one of many, sure. We may not agree a hunnerd percent, but take any five of us, put us on the mid-world train tracks, and we'd work together. Come on, come on, let's work together.

Meh, I find fireworks dull and boring. They may be pretty lights, but there is no real variation, not like Gandalf's fireworks.
