Good thing you didn't have Brain with you. That could have ended in one of those "Hey, y'all, watch this!" moments. ;-D

No way I could have taken any kind of selfie--still shot or video. I had no idea that was going to happen but even if I did, once the spinning started both hands had a death grip on the exam table and I do believe I was uttering Holy Sh*t. At least it wasn't a WTF.
:laugh: I laugh with you, not at you.;;D

Good morning,

We are going to hit 100 today, so I am off to the grocery store before that happens. Already 85, and it isn't even 9 am yet.

National High School Rodeo Finals are in town this week, lots of extra people here. Good for the town's economy.

Hope you all have a really great day. Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:

Well here's another absolute genius on the road...I'm starting to gauge getting older by my increasing list of things I can only shake my head at and wonder what thought process led the person to do this. This list seems to get longer on an hourly basis these days. This particular news article I see reinforced daily at every stop light I'm at. I look around and more often than not, at least 2 out of 3 other drivers are texting at every stoplight. I spend the next few minutes trying to do calculations on how many people are texting instead of concentrating on the couple of thousand pound chunk of metal they're supposed to be piloting, but hey, as long as that very important text gets sent I guess....

I totally get this. I had a come to Jesus moment about aging at a restaurant the other day. 3 adult woman with 4 small kids, the kids were absolutely OFF THE HOOK wild. Hanging over the booths into other people's space, crawling under tables in other people's legs.

Of course, I had the old hag look on my face, judging. It was awful!!!

I actually had to make myself stop being so geezerly!!!!

I hear ya. I just go thru life quietly now that I've realized it's the world moving on, dragging me with it. When it comes to texing while your driving, I would have a hard time sleeping at night knowing I'd caused an injury accident. It's not just teenagers or anything, it's everyone. At stoplights, it looks like driving is the last thing on everyone's mind. I feel like an alien because I'm watching all the vehicles around me, trying to see who's not going to turn when they're supposed to, who's sitting with their blinker light on but not actually turning because they're texting, or who's screaming at someone on the phone while 10 cars wait behind them for them to get with the program. It's weird how the most dangerous thing most of us do on a daily basis has become just an afterthought. I guess they need to get those autopilot vehicles into production so everyone can just tune out and get back to their text or talk conversations which take precedent over the fact you're responsible for driving.
