Good Day to you, lovely people, how is everybody doing today?
I`m OK, can`t wait for winter to get here, I`m REALLY tired of the heat.
No friend of summer here, I want three feet of snow and temps around minus 15 C.

OK......so the doctor said that the infection is gone for the most part, but I still have lots of swelling and pressure in my ears and sinuses. I have another round of low dosage steroids, a high dosage of allergy medicine, and a prescription nasal spray. He said if I'm not feeling a lot better in a couple of weeks, I'll be referred to an ENT specialist.
.....I've decided that if I'm not feeling better in a few weeks, but not feeling worse, that I'm gonna learn to live with it. I'm afraid of going to an ENT.

.......Now, I have to learn how to squirt nasal spray up my nose. Should be interesting.

You have had a rough go of it. Hope this works for you.

I'm with you on this! This 100 degree feels like temperatures are getting the best of me. I've had enough.

Well, you know...when it`s cold, you dress yourself up..and that`s it, good to go.
When it`s this effin hot....you can walk around naked, it`s still hot.
I live in Canada, man, it`s supposed to be cooler, at least, than in 95% of the world...
I call BS on the heat, gimme back my snow-ice-cold weather in which my brain doesn`t fry like a turkey on Thanksgiving...

I live in Canada as well, have all my life. Until 2 years ago, lived in the snowbelt region of Ontario. It was so great!
Snowsqualls of the Lakes, brutal cold and loads and loads of snow. Really miss it.

I agree! There are days that it has been too hot to even let my dogs out for more than a few minutes. I can't wait for Fall temps with pumpkins/cider and all the beautiful leaves. Then Winter with all that sparkling snow.......and hot chocolate! ( here in reality it is 90 and pouring rain) Have a good day everyone!

OK.....I won't "learn to live with it"......but when they cut off my ears, will y'all pitch in and buy me some cool elfin ears, or maybe some Spock ears?
I did okay using the spray stuff for the first time. The allergy meds make me feel like I've taken a bunch of speed, and I talked everyone's ears off at work today (if you can imagine me more talkative than I already am).
The doc said it will take a day or two to notice any real improvement, so I'm waiting......and talking.....and cleaning......



Oh, I have a cocktail in mind........

I learned when I was 12 - that is pretty late - maybe give it another shot? You just have to relax and learn how to float - good luck!

I don't think I can swim. I can do a mom swim. Head up and pushing water.
Get crazy and try the mom side swim. I can float.

Oceans, I am bit creeped of. Round here they are grey and who knows whats in there. I remember being tossed round and round by waves underwater when little.

Now just say, if I go in. 'oh no, big one coming' and try to decided to beat it or dive in it, get ahead of it and and do that big floaty happy lift when you beat it.

Now in the Islands, (any of them) creeped by fish that you can see, because water is so clear. ICK! Fish, every were.

I like to float. If I can keep my shades on and a drink in my hand - that's the kind of swimming I like to do. Or even on a float - that's the best. I could save my life if I needed to, but I'd just kind of float to safety. My kind of swimming would never be considered exercise.

I want a float thing. I went to this pool 4 more times than I thought I would go.
For for hangover cure, and I did not care. Wanted something. So I went.
Only a couple of people there usually, big pool.

But one lady on a float. always. There she is. I don't know what's going on.
I mom swim by. bump 'excuse me' I suck.

One time , just a couple on a first date. I am aware of this because I floated into them. Just floated. Me and two others in a large pool. I drifted into a first date. They told me.
Probably first kiss.

Water is for playing in! Swimming is just for weirdos. I can swim but thats just for emergencies. But i once won a rum and coke drink from the bartender at a hotel in Crete where i was at a vacation. He didn't think i could swim one length of the pool underwater without breathing. So of course i had to prove i could do it. I made it, just, but that drink was hardearned.

You'll be in their first date stories forever - "Remember that girl who swam into our first kiss?". The swimming pool is a very unusual place for a first date.

I love to swim! A pool or the ocean. Lakes creep me out for some reason, especially if there is a diving raft in it. (Gee I wonder why?)

Snorkeling, as most of you know, is my main activity in Hawaii. Love being in the water with my fishie buddies
