Good luck, niro! I think it's easier to get a job when you have a job, less pressure to take just anything. Also, since it would be a limited one-year job, it's a good opportunity to grow your skills and prove yourself. If you do get the job, use it to your advantage and learn all you can. Volunteer to do things that maybe wouldn't be your responsibility, then do them well. When you finish, you'll have some great references that you can take with you to your next job! Fingers crossed for you on Thursday! ((niro))

Thankee, that's the way I think of it as well. :)

I had a job interview today. It's not related to my field of studies but I guess it would be a good job anyway. Guess it would give me some opportunities to take more responsibility in a job. It's an office job with good pay. In my last and first job after my graduation I didn't have much responsibility which wasn't great in the end. They said they would tell me on thursday if I got the job or not. It would be just for one year.

The only thing that keeps from beeing absolut happy is a friend of mine which told me it would be no good to take a job which isn't related to my filed of studies. What do you think?
Good luck with the interview. It never hurts to try something new, Niro. Many study in one field, yet end up working in another. Do what makes you happy.

The visit with family was great but had a bad flare up of the BPPV* (vertigo) so didn't get to enjoy as much of my time off as I would have liked.
Oh dear - time to see the ENT doc?

(((healing vibes Ms. Mod)))

*benign paroxysmal positional vertigo - thank God I don't have to type those dang ENT letters today!

Please take care. Another treatment (the astronaut spinny chair one?) Healing vibes!

I tried calling yesterday to get an appointment for another Epley maneuver treatment but there was no answer so assumed they were closed for the holiday. It isn't as bad as it was this weekend so not sure if it's resolving on its own. Now I'm in the position of having to decide whether to make an appointment and not really need it or don't make it and it gets bad again.
