FINALLY! Yahoo released my domain to Goddaddy, so I can start building the site. They have templates, but they're pretty disappointing. I guess that's what I expected. I'm going to start with a blank canvas and add stuff to it with a drag and drop tool. That's cool,though. I know exactly what I want it to look like. Wish me luck!

Today is my youngest, Elise's, birthday. She's 11. God bless sassy, hormonal pre-teens. We had cookie cake for dinner. We have a football game tonight. It was a tough day at work -- beyond busy.

I just want a beer and a bubble bath and an early bedtime. I might even have to have a smoke. I need to be at the gym, but : football.

I could use a sweet snack. I wasted a whole day wading through Godaddy's templates. Should have known they wouldn't have one I like, or can customize to my satisfaction. I'm going to have to write the code. ...Or find a site I like and rip off... er... customize the code to suit my needs.

I recently 'updated' my Internet Explorer (to make my web browsing experience BETTER!!!) to the version 9 and ever since then my pc sucks! I HATE Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know anything about Chrome? Is it a web browser and is it better than this IE crap?

I recently 'updated' my Internet Explorer (to make my web browsing experience BETTER!!!) to the version 9 and ever since then my pc sucks! I HATE Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know anything about Chrome? Is it a web browser and is it better than this IE crap?

Chrome is great, I use it all the time.... IE sucks far more than my vacuum cleaner. (Which isn't actually saying a lot.. it's an old piece of crap... much like IE.)

I think I've seen Jordan mentioning it somewhere here. I'm just terrified to switch over to Chrome for fear of really messing things up.

My laptop is dead at the moment. I think this plain evil windows update messed with him.
Black Screen no disaster recovery. I will give it a try later on.
Some say on the internet that it's the graphic card but I read yesterday about the windows update of the devil.
For now I am a lucky user of the library computer.

I love libraries! We had a councilman who tried to block a grant to our library system (the first they'd asked for since 1964!) because, as he put it, "No one reads anymore. They get whatever they need from the internet." Besides the fact that he's an idiot (lol), he has no concept of how many people use the library in order to access the internet.

Chrome is the best browser I've tried. I only use another browser if I HAVE to.

Your old browser is still there if you want it. But after trying Chrome, you won't. Want the old one, I mean.

So how does the pc know which one to use? Right now all I have to do is click on the big 'E' icon at the bottom of my screen and it automatically goes to the internet.
