I've been curious about that recipe. Is it any good?SkiMom, When you make your own laundry soap do you use the recipe that makes a five gal bucket? The fels naptha/borax/soda etc recipe? And if so, how many loads do you get approx from your bucket?? I want to make this, but wondered how much it really makes? I do tons of laundry a week and I don't like using commercial soap w/chemicals. Thanks! Also those muffins sound awesome!
Dude has had a little too much work done.
You know me so well!"You scratch my boolshyte and I'll scratch yours?"
I've never made the liquid - but I have made the powder - I've got the mixture on my pinterest board. I liked it for a while, but our clothes looked a little dingy to me, and someone suggested adding oxyclean - and I thought, well, I may as well use commercial detergent if I have to add chemicals. So I went back to using Gain. Maybe the liquid works better. skimom2 - post your recipe please. If you say it works I'll give it a try again. I also made my own dishwasher detergent. It would cake up - I didn't like it much.I've been curious about that recipe. Is it any good?
